Export Users for Ultimate Member solves a common Ultimate Member problem: user data lives in WordPress user meta, and generic exporters usually dump raw meta keys and stored option IDs. Export Users for Ultimate Member reads your Ultimate Member forms directly. Column headers use your field labels, option fields are decoded to readable values, and you choose exactly who and what to export before download.
What’s current now
The local free plugin version is 1.0.10 and the Pro plugin version is 1.5.4. The current free feature set includes CSV export, CSV import, saved presets, preview, and Amazon S3 storage. Pro adds Excel, automation, and large-site tooling.
Export the right members
Start with role, Ultimate Member account status, and registration date. Export Users for Ultimate Member supports approved, pending review, awaiting email confirmation, rejected, and inactive members, plus last 7, 30, or 90 days or a custom range. A live count updates as you tighten the filters.
- Column mapper — Search core fields and Ultimate Member profile meta, drag to reorder, then preview the first 25 rows.
- Readable values — Select, radio, checkbox, and multiselect options export as labels from your Ultimate Member forms, not stored keys.
- Presets — Save filter and column layouts and reuse them for backups, migrations, or recurring lists.
Import members without guessing
Upload a CSV, map columns with auto-matching where possible, dry-run the first 25 rows, then create or update users. Match by email or username, and skip blank cells on update so empty spreadsheet cells do not wipe profiles.
Free import limit: up to 500 data rows per file. Pro removes the cap and adds background imports, match by user ID, per-field update rules, import presets, and password-reset emails.
Store exports locally or on Amazon S3
Default downloads stay on your server with secure tokenized links. Or send finished files to Amazon S3 with private signed URLs, optional CloudFront or CDN domain support, connection testing, and optional local cleanup after upload. S3 is already available in the free plugin under Export Storage.
What Pro adds
UM Export Pro is for larger directories, recurring syncs, and commerce or CRM enrichment without PHP timeouts or full re-exports every time. If you need to pipe Ultimate Member data into reporting, CRM, or email tools on a schedule, Pro is the automation layer.

Common questions
Do I need Ultimate Member installed?
Yes. Export Users for Ultimate Member is an add-on for Ultimate Member and will not run without it. The plugin reads Ultimate Member form fields, account statuses, and profile meta the way Ultimate Member stores them.
Can I choose which fields are exported?
Yes. Export Users for Ultimate Member includes a drag-and-drop column mapper so you can include, exclude, search, and reorder core WordPress fields and Ultimate Member profile fields before download.
Can I filter which users are exported?
Yes. Export Users for Ultimate Member can filter members by role, Ultimate Member account status, and registration date. The admin UI shows a live count of matching members before you export.
Why not use a generic WordPress user exporter?

Does it work with WooCommerce and FluentCRM?
Yes, in Pro. UM Export Pro can add WooCommerce order metrics, subscription data, and FluentCRM status, tags, and lists as export columns and filters when those plugins are active.
What happens if I also install UM Export Pro?
The free export and import screens are disabled while UM Export Pro is active. Use the Pro export and import pages instead; the free plugin can stay installed without conflict.
What WordPress and PHP versions are required?
Export Users for Ultimate Member requires WordPress 6.0 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, and Ultimate Member. The free plugin readme is tested up to WordPress 6.9, while the local development version shown here is 1.0.10.
