WooCommerce Sales Automation

# When a shopper acts,
wait for the moment,
then bring them back.

Every CartCue automation reads like a sentence. Pick a trigger, narrow the audience, set the timing, choose the action — **When → and → Wait → Then**. Set it once and it runs itself, recovering carts and winning back the customers you’ve already lost.

How CartCue works

## Every automation is one sentence

No flowcharts, no nodes to wire together. You fill in four blanks, top to bottom, and you can read the whole thing back in plain English.

Whenthe trigger

Pick the moment that starts it — a cart abandoned, an order paid, a customer gone quiet. CartCue watches for it 24/7.

**e.g.** Cart Abandoned

andthe audience

Narrow it down with filters — first-time buyers only, orders over $50, a specific product, 120 days since last order.

**e.g.** Cart total > $50

Waitthe timing

Right away, 1 hour, 1 day, a custom delay, or a specific store time. The pause is what turns a nudge into good timing.

**e.g.** Wait 1 hour

Thenthe action

Send an email, generate a unique coupon, fire a webhook, change a role. Activate, and it runs itself from here.

**e.g.** Send a personalized email

Read them like sentences

## Automations that pay for themselves

Each one is the same four-blank sentence. Here’s how the common ones read.

🛒### Cart recovery

When**a cart is abandoned**

Wait1 hour

Thenemail a reminder with their cart still waiting

7 in 10 carts are abandoned. A timed nudge brings back 10–15% of them.

🎉### First-order welcome

When**an order is paid**

andit’s the customer’s first order

Thensend a warm welcome, right away

Second purchases happen far more often when a first-time buyer feels welcomed.

↩️### Win back the quiet ones

When**a customer hasn’t ordered in 30 days**

Thensend a “we miss you” email with an optional coupon

Repeat buyers are 5× more likely to convert than cold traffic — and free to reach.

⭐### Review request

When**an order is paid**

Wait3 days

Thenask “how was it?” while it’s fresh

More reviews → better rankings → more organic traffic. Most owners never ask.

💳### Payment retry Pro

When**a payment fails at checkout**

Wait30 minutes

Thensend a direct link to retry

Most failed payments are accidents. A timed retry recovers the majority.

📣### Win-back campaign Pro

When**you hit Send Now**

and120 days since last order (registered + guests)

Thengenerate a unique category coupon + email it

A one-time manual blast to a whole dormant list — the campaign below.

The same sentence, sent on demand

## One Send Now for the customers you’d written off

A specialty-foods shop had two piles of contacts going stale: 669 registered customers and 267 guests who checked out without ever making an account. Most hadn’t ordered in months.

They built one manual campaign in the same grammar — when they hit send, and the customer is 120+ days inactive, then generate a unique, category-restricted coupon and email it. The build sheet on the right is that campaign.

“The campaign now shows around 938 customers, which is consistent with my WooCommerce customer base and imported guests.”
— **Héctor**, store owner, on the audience preview after setup

Questions

## The things store owners actually ask

Pulled from real support threads. Anything else? Email <hello@userelements.com> — we reply fast.

Do I need to understand flowcharts or “nodes”? +

No. Every automation is one top-to-bottom sentence — When, and, Wait, Then. You fill four blanks and read it back in plain English. A recap line at the bottom confirms exactly what it does before you activate.

Can I send one campaign to registered customers and guests together? +

Yes. CartCue Pro has a combined “registered + imported guests” segment that deduplicates by email — if the same address exists as both an account and a past guest, they’re counted and emailed once, with the registered account taking priority.

Does “days since last order” count guest purchases too? +

Yes. The filter checks both the customer’s account and their billing email, then uses whichever found the most recent paid order. Someone who bought as a guest before registering won’t slip past a 120-day filter.

Is each customer’s coupon unique, or one shared code? +

Unique. The Generate Coupon action creates a one-time code per recipient, and you can restrict or exclude specific products and categories. CartCue also retries automatically in the rare case a code collides.

Does cart recovery work for guest shoppers? +

Yes — on both block and classic checkout. CartCue captures the email the moment a guest types it in the checkout form, even if they leave before completing. No account required.

Does my customer data go to anyone else’s server? +

No. CartCue runs entirely on your WordPress install, and emails go through your own mailer or SMTP plugin. No names, emails, or order data ever touch userelements.com or any third party.
